Claudine Monteil regards the lectures that she gives in France and abroad (in French or in English) as her tribute to Simone and Helene de Beauvoir, to Jean-Paul Sartre and to the cause of women’s rights. An avid traveler, she has been an international speaker at many distinguished institutions, including Bryn Mawr College, Oxford University, the Universities of Stockholm, Lisbon, Ankara, Turin, and Pittsburgh (see CV).
