Simone de Beauvoir
The International Simone de Beauvoir Society is a literary society founded and chaired by Professor Yolanda Astarita Patterson, professor emeritus at California State University, Hayward, general secretary of the Society, professor Lilian Lazar at Hofstra University. This society publishes a biannual newsletter and over 2O volumes of articles and notes on Simone de Beauvoir from academics from all over the world. These articles are a reference to specialists of the Beauvoirs, and Sartre and other writers who dealt with them and to the history of the intellectual world of the XXth century. They have a bilingual website where more information is available.
